The Damen Shipyards Group has launched a new yachting division named Damen Yachting. Under the leadership of Rose Damen, Damen Yachting will oversee all of the yacht ranges associated with both Amels and Damen, including the Limited Editions, SeaXplorers and Yacht Support ranges, plus Full Custom yachts and refit services.The new division follows a successful decade for the shipbuilder, who branched into the yachting sector with the first of 15 Damen Yacht Support vessels in 2010 and is set to deliver the largest Amels Full Custom superyacht to date in 2021. In 2019, Amels and Damen delivered a total of 6 projects and sold 7 new build projects. Damen Yachting currently has more than 20 new build and refit projects on the go with six yachts for delivery during 2020.
